Semi-Integrated PV Roof Systems
PV modules with conventional frames can be integrated harmoniously into the roof surface. Solar Technologies can provide a semi-integrated roof mounting system that is a structurally tested solution with guaranteed weather tightness utilising drainage channels, deflector plates and EPDM gaskets.
The primary benefit of semi-integrated PV roof systems is that as the PV modules are fitted as part of the roof coverings the modules are in the same surface as the surrounding materials.
This means there is no need for conventional roofing under the modules - which is particularly relevant for new buildings and represents another opportunity to minimise costs and weight.
