An integrated roof system is particularly suitable if you are building or re-roofing a property. Solar Technologies offer two main types of integrated PV roof system; a solar tile or a solar roof.
The solar tile was designed to integrate with the traditional interlocking tiles and is easily installed by fixing to standard battens. Each tile has a PV laminate comprising of photovoltaic cells generating as output of 23W peak per tile.
Over the year a suitably orientated photovoltaic roof installation of approximately 100 solar tiles will generate enough electricity for a typical 3 bedroom household.
