Solar PV & Renewable Energy Case Studies

A demonstration in the use of renewable energy has been undertaken at two principle HSBC sites. At the regional office in Birmingham we installed six 1.5kWe micro-wind turbines on the roof of the 10 storey building. In addition, the Management Centre in Bricket Wood recieved a hybrid wind and PV solution, with two 1.5kWe micro-wind turbines and 25kWp of PV across the roof, a glass atrium and as a display unit. The use of renewable energy technologies is being undertaken as part of the HSBC's commitment to tackle climate change.
