Solar PV & Renewable Energy Case Studies

London Climate Change Agency (LCCA)

As one of the tenants of the new Palestra building in Southwark, the London Climate Change Agency (LCCA) requires that renewable energy is generated on or within the building. The Photovoltaic modules are installed on the roof of the building together with Micro-wind turbines along the edge of the upper plant deck. The renewable energy generators are electrically connected to the specific areas within the building to be occupied by the LCCA. Solar technologies operated a turnkey contract providing a full design, supply and install service together with ongoing monitoring and service contracts.
